Christmas Bowling Time!!!

Every year, my family goes bowling and has a gift exchange. Every time you get a strike you open a present and then steal presents from the other family members. It gets quite competitive if the presents are good. But in the end, Kevin and John (dad) are usually the ones with the best presents (if you catch my drift).

Bowling makes me sleepy! Right now anyway!

I know that I am very bad at posting things on time, or that I have been lately. We had a very lovely Thanksgiving. We stayed in Arizona and had dinner at my parent's house. We do this every year. We watched football and enjoyed each other's company. It was a very relaxing day. The next day (Black Friday), we went shopping like the other crazy people. I didn't get many pictures of Thanksgiving.

Christmas was so much fun. We travelled up to Utah to spend Christmas with Kevin's family. It was nice to get away for a week and a half and relax a little bit. It was snowing like crazy while we were up there. Kylee had so much fun playing in the snow. I sat her up in the snow and she was playing in it for a little bit. Then she just layed down. I had to take the opportunity to help her make her first snow angel. It was so much fun being able to play with her in the snow for her first Christmas.

Christmas day was so fun. I loved watching Kylee try and rip the wrapping paper off of her presents, not to mention some other presents also. She enjoyed playing with the paper more than her toys, until she realized what her toys did.

Kevin and I really enjoyed being in Utah for Christmas. It was so much fun being Kylee up to see Kevin's family and to play in the snow and with her cousins that she doesn't get to see all of the time. We love you all and hope that you had a wonderful and merry Christmas.

2- Who was with you? Kevin, he said that he had to be there and if I found out by myself he would be sad.
3- How did you find out that you were pregnant? I have to agree with the world and say the same way everybody does. You pee on the stick.
4- What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant? Excited
5- Your Husbands reaction? Excited
6- Who was the first person you told? We tried to wait to see what it was, but couldn't wait that long. We told Kyle first ... I think. Maybe it was my parents.
7. Did you plan to get pregnant? Yes
8-Was everybody happy for you? Of Course
9- Did you go out and celebrate? I don't think so, but we probably did.
10- Did you want to find out the sex? most definitely. I needed to know. I had to prepare!
11- What was the sex? a girl, and she was not shy about it!
12-Did anyone throw you a baby shower? Yes
13- If yes, who? My mom and my sisters, and my mother-in-law and my sisters-in-law.
14- Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew you weren't going to put on your baby? I don't remember any, but I'm sure that there were.
15- How much weight did you gain? I gained 25 after I lost about 8 from being sick!
16- Did you loose all of the weight that you gained? Not yet, but I will. I need to get my butt in gear.
17- Did you get a lot of stretch marks? Yes. I was so upset about it, but it was worth it.
18- What did you crave the most? I only had one craving.
19- Did you crave anything crazy? Whole tomatoes and salt. It was so good once I got to eat it.
20- Who or what got on your nerves the most? Having Kylee kick my ribs constantly. But I understand. She was so long that she didn't have anywhere else to kick.
21- Were you married at the time? Of course
22- Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? Nope.
23- Where were you when you went into labor? At the hospital.... I was induced
24- Did your water break? No the doctor did it for me.
25- Who drove you to the hospital? Kevin
26- Did you go early or late? 4 days late. :(
27- Who was in the room with you when you gave birth? just Kevin
28- Was it video taped? Nope
29- Did you have any drugs for the pain? Epidural
30-Did you go Natural or have a c-section? Natural
31- What was your first reaction after giving birth? I was very relieved to get her out. I didn't get to hold her right away because she had some poop in her lungs and they needed to clean it out before she took a breath. I couldn't believe that I was a mom. It was the greatest feeling ever.
32- How big was the baby(s)? 9lbs 3oz and 22 inches long
33- Did your Husband cry? Nope
34- What did you name the baby(s)? Kylee Jolene Hickman
35- Did the baby(s) have any complications? Miconium (poop) in the lungs
36- How old is your baby today? She is 6 months and 2 days
37- When is the next one(s) coming? In a year or so.
